I went walking, and what did I see? I saw a raven, looking at me. See, there it is:

I also saw a number of other things with Zach, all along the cemetery line (viewable
here), and also the aforementioned alley, which will be explored when either the typhoon stops or I buy a new umbrella. My umbrella is pants. I mean, seriously. It's failing in its duty by not actually being waterproof. *sadface* I know it's very amusing to watch me push down the spokes every time the wind blows it up, but I am not inclined to continue doing so. I think a nice cheap grocery store umbrella is a must-buy! I could paint it and make it pretty. Or glue things to it, or stick stickers on it. There are all sorts of options. It could even be sparkly! ;)
Afterwards we perambulated into the Curry Shack, which encased a Party wherein one might speak Japanese. It occurs to me that parties are a very bad place to try speaking Japanese. It's almost impossible to hear what anyone is saying, even if they're speaking English. It was fun, though. I met nice people and got invited to a Halloween party where there are prizes for wearing costumes and also there are free drinks, presumably of the alcoholic variety as it was included as a lure. I could be mistaken. They could be offering me soda!
Possibly there will be dramatic weather tomorrow. It is exciting.
