Day, Which Was Good Despite Incidents

And I think the incidents are all turning out okay anyway. I splashed ink on my shirt (level of stupid today: high - forgot my notebook, dropped my key, wore a white shirt to shodo...), and when I got home and my host mum was all 'oh no! Your shirt is inky!' and I pulled it off, it caught on my glasses and popped the lens out, and then I couldn't find the screw. But the ink came out, mostly, and the guy at the glasses place fixed my glasses for free! These glasses are out to get me. If I didn't look so cute in them...

The best thing, though, is that I made some friends! Japanese ones, at that. Trufax - Frisbee is the best way to get to know people. Because they're playing Frisbee, they've got a higher-than-average chance of being really awesome, and you're bound to have something in common with them. That is, if you play Frisbee. And Frisbee-players tend to be very friendly on account of always looking for new people to play with. *nods seriously* So now I am friends with Karen (who is British), and Marie and Moi, who are Japanese. Marie also speaks English, on account of sometimes living in America, which is very handy, and I learnt the word for 'unrequited love' today. I think it was in reference to Karen's bad luck with the Frisbee, but... I'm not completely sure. かたこい, if you're interested. And apparently Moi said something dreadfully shocking (Marie called it obscene) and then blamed it on Karen. Good times. ;)

In other news, I really really like the singer Rie Fu. She's kind of awesome.

Jaa ne, I've got a test tomorrow, so it's time to study some more.

japan, resistentialism, life is good, i am frivolous
