I've Started Eating Lunch In The Bread Store Everyday
...because my job is, while rewarding, very exhausting and stressful and some days I need to escape! Every day this week! The eye twitch of stress is back. When I get home tonight I am taking a hot bath and then playing the Avengers game on Facebook, yes. It - well, yesterday, seven classes in eight hours and three counselings and I had to stay an extra hour to finish up and prepare for today's eight classes in nine hours. This week there's also a fuckton of paperwork for counselings and for the monthly report and for the monthly - essentially note to each kid's parents. There are a lot of kids. And this is also the first week of the new schedule, which has several new classes for me, in terms of time slots as well as course materials and students.
Which is to say, that's why I am hiding in the stupidly loud bread shop amidst the terrible music.
But SRB reblogged my response to her post on tumblr! So happy! (we were talking about the TV show Revenge, which I am mostly enjoying except for the parts about Declan, which I am skipping. Thank god for the digital age...)
