Things I Have Learned Tonight

  1. Amaretto is a sneaky little bugger - it's much more alcoholic than it tastes.

2. Rum has almost no effect on me.

3. Karaoke should be attempted with more of the above than was consumed.

4. There's someone out there who's more of a lightweight than I am!

GOOD TO KNOW.

(although I have attempted karaoke stone-cold sober, it is not for the faint of heart)

Unrelated, but here is something I have been thinking about that I want your opinion on: who in Star Trek would make the absolute worst Companion? (HINT: I THINK IT'S SPOCK) Um. This is the kind of thing I think about when deprived of the internet.

Yes. Karaoke should be attempted with at least two of the ones that taste like almond pudding, TBH. Maybe three ( ... )

Now I am imagining Nine's face when he comes back and finds that Scotty has completely rewired the TARDIS, and it is absolutely PRICELESS.

ETA: Uhura and Chekov would be my top choices - Uhura because she probably wouldn't put up with his nonsense and also would be so awesomely excited at the chance to use all her language skills, and Chekov because HIJINKS.

Chekov and Ten hurts my brain... they would have no self-control at all.

Hah. Some of us do karaoke sober... although I can see how alcohol might help.

Also, where I come from, Companion is a Firefly term... >_>;

Some of us can't, um, really sing without the actual singer there to keep us on track. Or unless it's a song we know really, really, /really/ well. And for some reason they usually don't have the ones I know that well in their song books.

*snickers* Rose just /wishes/ she was that sort of Companion.
