GIP and babble here
Today my mother re-painted the ceiling of my bedroom (and my little brother's too), so I helped her~. Now both ceilings looks a lot better than before. ♥ My only complain comes from cleaning the mess though. It took me like hours to clean the dried paint all over the floor.
Besides that I did a bit of RPing today and played Ragnarok Online 2. *hides* It's my brother's fault, I swear. He found a fan-made English translation of RO2 to play over the Korean Beta servers. The server where we're playing is full of English-speaking players, almost everything is translated and the graphics are so pretty, OMG. ;; But I'm waiting until I get tired of this game (like Flyff, where honestly I already abandoned it since the new version came out, but I'm not gonna rant about that now) or the Beta is closed. Overall? I'm liking RO2 more, it's more based on quests and even if you're a Novice you really enjoy the game a lot. Also, the Enchanters are awesome. (Because magic + support + heal = best class ever. Yeah, you don't have to guess which class my character is.)
About LIMS/Battles, here a recap for this week:
- Got eliminated of animanga_lims. I was expecting it, because my icon was bad, done very quickly and submitted during the first week in the last day (if I recall correctly). Then the extension came and... I forgot to review my icon, I didn't think it was bad when I finished it, but when I saw the voting post I just knew I was so gone. x'D
- Also got eliminated of shoujo_battle due to low overall raking. Actually I did pretty okay this week but it wasn't enough to survive and I had tons of fun coloring Mika-chan from Angel Sanctuary (I love his tattoo). ♥ Anyway, I never imagined to get this far into the competition.
- Survived this week over at teishoku_battle. I can't tell much but hey, I proved that I can do better, right? 8D; I must do even better so I can survive next week. ♥~
- Also survived over at clamp_lims. \o/ I'm so glad that my icon did well (even Mod's Choice, OMG ;_;), because even if I had fun doing it, it took FOREVER to get done so I was glad when someone actually noticed my effort? *beams* I wanted to do something different so I spent some time thinking exactly what to do with the dolls, but then I came up with the concept of the Prince coming to save the Princess Prince from the Evil Cat-girls so I got started xD;, originally all the dolls were scattered all over the scan so I had to extract them separately (even the little hearts and dragons), then came the resizing-everyone thing and when I finished moving everyone around I started the coloring and stuff. I must admit to tend to abuse exclusion layers a bit too much. When the time to actually find a fitting texture came up I thought it was going to be easy, but I WAS WRONG. It took FOREVER to find. I was this close to just use another one when I found it, I had to erase some parts around the upper-center part of the icon because it blended a bit too much with the princess's prince's hair.
- Waiting results of atla_battle and manga_battle. (Yeah, I'm in the JL. LOL. Please leave some critiques? Also, critiques over atla_battle will be very appreciated.)
I might do a revamp of my userinfo soon instead of changing the header like I planned, it's very cluttered as it's right now, isn't? :/
