All this to say I drove a while. And then I sat the green room even longer, and drank four cups of coffee and discussed genetic traits with a bunch of dancers who, like myself, don't really give a damn about genetic traits. Later, when we were collectively a caffeinated cluster of confusion, there was much freezing to death on stage due to inactivity and not much costume.
I love my job.
