sudden realisation
all my main original fiction characters (across a few novella length pieces) all seem to have self-loathing tendencies to some degree
now, is that because I like writing flawed characters
OR
is my self-conscious trying to tell me something?
oh dear, I hope it isn't the latter
though in all fairness, the idea of writing a main character who is perfectly happy and content with their life seems... dull beyond words
