You should have just knocked the kid's hat over the balcony with a huge WHOOPS! That would have made the show even better. Plus, someone down below in the logue would have gotten a free hat!

In any case... I never saw the movie so I wouldn't know how this would stack up to that, but at least you had a good time! I'm also glad [as a former theatre tech] that the actors distracted you from set changes. THEY DID THEIR JOB WELL! :D

It's funny because the show I teched on was Wizard of Oz and we also had fails every show. How can someone forget to put out the Wicked Witch of the East's legs with the shoes on them?! It's okay, just shove them out there under the house! No one will ever notice! ... They're laughing! They noticed.

The thought of ripping off their hat was so tempting. My fingers twitched at the thought. But no, that would've have been rude. *Sigh*.

The actors were definitely amazing. Then again, I am easily distracted by the shiny, and damn, Glinda's dress was blinding with all the sparkles!

No scene from the movie was ever directly redone (I think so it avoids copyright laws) but they're mentioned in a very clever way. If you haven't seen the movie, I do believe it wouldn't be as awesome, unfortunately, because you'd miss out on a lot of in jokes. Still, their voices/singing would've made up for that. ^^

You should have run down and snatched Glinda's dress after the show. XDDDD No one would have said anything as they would have been distracted by the shiny and you would have gotten a free souvenir! :D
