Yes, I am writing again, yes I finally finished something even if it's been a WIP since everything was batshit crazy before Christmas, and more recent fics are still languishing on my laptop. But hey, it's a start.
Anyway, hello new friends.
Finally finished work for holiday and am more than ready for the break even though it's only about a month since I last had some leave - well, I'm ready for a break from my favourite coworker who has spent this entire week whinging that she is overworked. If she'd gone on much longer I'd have been really tempted to say something like "You might find you got more achieved if you spent less time complaining and more time actually getting on with it". She's certainly got time to sit and yak about how she doesn't like Costa Coffee, complete with an impression of a checkout girl who served it to her at a motorway service station in the year dot.
The weekend's delightful job is packing, that'll be fun. Then will be the six and a half hour journey although admittedly an hour of that is waiting at Manchester station, don't really mind that much though as if I have to wait anywhere that's a good station for it. It's still going to be a bit weird not breaking the journey at Grandad's but that's something I'll just have to live with.
