Summary: Written for lost_in_108 prompt #79: temptation. Marc, Sarah, Jack and Gabriela all struggle with the temptation to act on their feelings.
It was always the same when they were growing up, Jack the hero, Marc the best friend forever in his shadow. He’d tried not to resent it, but when Sarah showed an interest, he couldn’t resist the temptation.
He spent all the hours God sent at the hospital, always thinking about what he had to fix. When Sarah was secretly meeting Marc, she wondered when Jack would notice his marriage needed fixing.
Both striving towards the goal of fixing Angelo, Jack knew Gabriela understood in a way Sarah never could.
Fatherless and friendless in a strange land, Gabriela knew it wasn’t right but she couldn’t push Jack away.
