Ben had said to Locke about how he used to have dreams. But he didn’t tell Locke about the ones he still has.
Ethan comes to him, asking why he had to be sacrificed when he had always been loyal.
Roger asks him whether it was what Emily would have wanted, and he knows from his dreams of her that it wasn’t.
Goodwin taunts him that it was all for nothing, that Juliet would never have loved him anyway.
And Alex demands to know why he said what he said to Keamy, why he didn’t try and save her.
He can never wash the blood from his hands.
