Cindy didn’t fight it, because when they came to take her, there was a part of her that felt relieved.
She’d thought that it should have been her, ever since Zach and Emma had been taken. They’ve all told her that it wasn’t her fault, but Cindy was the one left in charge of them. She should have saved them.
And she felt responsible for Nathan too. If she hadn’t said she had a good memory for faces and couldn’t remember Nathan, would Ana still have suspected him?
When they came for her, she hoped her people wouldn’t rescue her. She was doing what she had to do.
