This is just stupid...

So sitting here, reading trough my mail, I notice EF needs volunteers for the artshow. Actually concidering it, I read trough the mail till I come to the part where they have requirements.

So EF is called Eurofurence, furs from all over europe gather and attend and hence the first few years, EF traveled between countries. Now I can understand their reasons for sticking to germany, comes natural at this size and all the stuff they need to bring over borders, great distances.. and ofcorse Toll..taxes and so forth.

Whats really bothering me is.. You cant volunteer unless you speak and write fluent German?!? This is one fox thats majorly disappointed. Why on earth is it so that you cant figure out a way to work where you actually use the F¤%&/G English language.. trying to exclude people? Or do you have all those lill secrets you wanna keep to yourself? I guess it's easier to keep to German, but it excludes half the con... But sure.. go ahead. I have plans to get shitfaced, buy loads of crap and pester all my friends anyways :p Even if I dont understand a good portions of the jokes on stage, I'll still be sitting in the crowd, cheering on. Atleast I get to laugh a bit.

And to be duely noted, I am looking forward to EF, even if it is expensive, only the sponsors get to sit outfront and ofcorse... us mortal broke bastards get to enter dealers den later.. woo...

I just hope the organisers dont end up busting up the con over time. I am gonna be evaluating this con a little stricted then usual. Carefully not to destroy it for me or others, but knowing if this gets worse, then I am gonna be looking for other cons to attend, I hear there are good ones in england? ^^

On the pluss side,
I hear very promising rumors about the pawpet show, remember EF13 and EF14, made me damed near cry.
I am bringing a suit this year (if I just manage to get it done)
I am looking forward to seeing all those familiar faces from last year
Excited to see if my print(s) sell.
Looking forward to poking by more random people..
and ofcorse not to forget the epic parties up in the rooms :p

So basicaly.. Many people decide not to go because the entire con has become something resembling a german only con. most of the jokes on stage by Kage and 2 were in german, wich meant half the crowd got to laugh, the other got a bad impression of two fantastic artists.. A remedy to this would be advicable, but as it seem, the EF staff (or organisers) aint really trying to help it at all.

I got to vent *glee* It's 7am and I am exhausted. Pardon my late night ramblings.
