The calm before the storm

This is wierd. Seeing Springfield in the darkness and in total and complete disorder. Powerlines down everywhere you look, trees in the middle of the streets, main roads we all know so well-closed, power is out everywhere, businesses destroyed, and no one knows when anything will return to normal.

I am at work and we are running this whole giant place on a generator, but if you look at the rest of town, it is total darkness. On the radio they say if you do not have power by tomorrow, who knows when it will be. They have estimated as long as two weeks for some places before power is restored.

Two confirmed F2 tornadoes touched down the other night.

Then last night Blaine, Andreah, Shaun, and I thought it would be a brilliant idea to go hunt down my former roomates and start a fight. Probably not the best decision.

I feel so dirty, no shower, nothing today and here I am at work.

At the same time it is exciting to see the change, to awaken and see what is going on.

Regardless, things aren't going all that bad. I am still managing to have some fun.
