...to families! the only ones who will stick by you regardless of who you are, what you choose, and however many million mistakes you might make.
to my sister, always there for me, ready to jump up and fight for my name. she's one in a million, beautiful enough to turn her life into a movie, and intelligent enough to never do so. she's always been my number one, ready to listen to any of my problems.
to my mother, who gets on my nerves more than any family member, but only because she cares the most. she who shoves scholarship opportunities and chores in front of my face, because she knows i don't have the ambition to do so myself. if it were up to her, i'd have a little chip in my brain that shocked me every time i did something stupid... and i'd be all the better for it. fried... but better.
to my father, my childhood idol (the sentence which proves i'm still a child). he's always understanding, always level headed, and always has the right answers to my problems. plus, he's the only one in the family who knows how to fix the internet router... so he's infinitely valuable. woo-hoo!
and lastly, to my dog. he's big, blond, he sheds, and provides my life with a little extra chaos when he swallows tampons. eight tampons. would've killed kenny 8 times over, but hey! dakota's a trooper.
appreciate your families, kids. cause i only got a few months left... and that very well might be the very last time i get constant close contact with em. colorado only guarantees housing for a year, ya know... so i'm gonna have to live there before my sophomore year's out. but hey, it's colorado... they provide you with step-parents, free of charge: jack daniels and mary jane. yay!
