so here's the deal...
Andrew & I are back together and i got a job at Bistro 41, which both are so great! I'm a hostess/cock tail waitress for the time being. Then once they get rid of some servers, i'll fill that position and i'll be serving full time. I can't tell you how happy i am to be back into the restaurant business.
Also, i was talking to my mom last night and she's all for my idea of studying abroad this summer. The only thing is, i would need to know the language of that country... which is a problem because i never paid attention in my language classes. SO... we figured it out and now i'm 98% sure i'm going to London in july-august to study out there. I would either live with a family that has a kid going to whichever university i would go to, or i would stay in the housing at the university. It'd only be 5-6 weeks but i'd much rather try out the whole study over seas thing over the summer to see if i like it, and then if i decide it's for me, then i'll go out for a semseter or two. i'm working on getting a scholarship for this particular program, but i don't think it's going to be too hard to get sooo basically, it's almost a done deal.
I think this is an amazing opportunity. I'd fly out there all alone, arrive all alone. it'll be pretty overwhelming the first day or two i'm there. In a city of 10 million people by myself, but i'll meet people which will make it even that more exciting. Not only that, but i can use this towards my summer credit hours.
