quick update
So Allison Sienna Lowe was finally born on March 15, 2006 at 6:19pm! She weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz and was 22 inches long. She is doing great and has an amazing amount of hair! my labor went very well. I started on pitocin at 7 am(my body is super sensitive to pitocin so I immediatly started contracting every 2mins, had my water broken at 8am i did cave and have and epidural at 3-4 cm because I went into back labor. I had "perfect posture" for my epidural haha. That was at about 2pm I was 6cm by 4pm and fully dilated at 6pm. They turned down my epidural and announced it was time to push so Tim ran to the bathroom and I waited to push and talked to his mom and the doctor and nurses a bit. Tim got back and I pushed on my next contraction. I only spent less than 15 mins pushing before Allie was out. My doctor called me a superstar and said thats how all labors and deliveries should go lol It may sound crazy but one of the first things I said after was "that was fun" and I meant it! I would do it over again anytime! Pushing was surprisingly easy for me and I had them leave the TV on for background noise so inbetween my contractions we talked about the news. I had a great experience and am truly blessed.
