(no subject)
Wow, I am actually going to do an update?! Yeah...I figure it will be one of my last. I just dont see the point of this anymore. But for those of you that care, I will fill you in. So Jan 22 I had one of my baby showers. It was a bit overwhelming because sooo many people were there but it was so good to see my girls! (Payal, Chandana, Katie and Elyse...I LOVE YOU!!!) It is so good to have friends who still want to be involved in my life. Allison is going to have such good Aunties!
So the shower was great. Allie and I got some really great things...she has the CUTEST outfits! I am so excited!!!! Yesterday was the 35 week mark! sooo only 5 more weeks (37 weeks is considered full term though.)
Anyway, 12:30am on the 23rd i got VERY sick. we are talking throwing up 1-2 times an hour for about 5 hours. Tim took me to the hospital Monday around noon and I was DEHYDRATED. we are talking really bad. some of the levels in my urine were too high so I was on IV fluids and dextrose (sugar) and of course they hooked me up to monitors to make sure Allie was ok and see if i was having contractions. Allie was fine and sure enough, I was having contractions that were 8 mins apart. They had to pump me full of fluids in hopes of stopping the contractions because they didnt want me going into preterm labor. It worked and around 6pm (?) I was released. My bosses gave me the week off work because I was so worn out. I am feeling a bit more normal now. Just really tired.
I made REALLY good baked mostacoli this past week and am pretty damn proud of myself.
Soo that was that. Then yesterday my doctor said I was measuring a bit small so monday I am going to get an ultrasound just to be sure everything is ok. I'm sure it is but of course I am a worried mother and would appreciate it if you kept Allison in your thoughts!
Oh and yesterday Tim and I picked up my car which is just a piece. Everything is wrong with it lol. So we got some stuff fixed and Tims friend from work is going to take a look at it and they will fix the rest. At least I really dont need it.
The animals are all doing ok. Peeka is a brat. Her and I had a rough morning because I woke up with a headache and she woke up in the mood to get into EVERYTHING. And Flink has what looks like the beginning of a clogged nostril so I see a doctors appt in his future.
Tim is just amazing. I am by far the luckiest woman alive. Not only is he sooo handsome (and the bluest of blue eyes ever)but he is so sweet. The other night he was talking to Allison and everytime he would say something she would kick and move around. The look he got on his face was so filled with love and pride towards her. It's just such a good feeling. I am so lucky!
