Updates and a Hobby Shift
I'm back! Sort of.
I guess this isn't my main hobby anymore- in fact, it hasn't been for about a year, but at least I'm not avoiding DoA anymore. I've deleted my doll website in favour of posting all future doll stuff here. It's easier, more streamlined, and waaaay less trouble. If I don't like this layout, then I'll delete this in favour of blogger or wordpress, but I really think this works better for me. I want a nice neat blog, with pictures.
I'm also debating whether to go back to writing down their stories- every so often I like to, and I think having everything here will make it so much easier to do that when the mood takes me.
I finally re-painted and reassembled Cass after almost a year without him. I've really missed this frightfully expressive hunk of resin. I got him at a time when I really needed something to sink my emotions into, and as a result, he's shy, quiet, moody, pensive, and awkwardly, gloriously beautiful. I love this doll.
I hated having to repaint him, but I'm going into a new phase of my life, and his face-up had worn away on his nose because I was always kissing him, so he really needed it. I wanted him to still look like himself, only more awesome, and I think I managed that with is new look. Somehow he looks more delicate, more whimsical and handsome, I love it! I also gave him some eye-lashes which was a new addition this time around. I feel like I've gotten a new doll.
Once my brand new Nikon D5000 arrives, I'll be posting a bunch of pictures of him- he's just so perfectly Cass.
