No No! In a good way!

Tim Lincecum threw a no hitter tonight. It was his first one and it was grueling--148 pitches thrown.

We were at a different game, the Giants AAA club, the Fresno Grizzlies, vs the Sacramento Rivercats (the As' AAA club). It was a fun game; it's nice to see minor leaguers you've heard about or guys who have actually played in the bigs. Nancy was tracking the Giants game on her phone and at one point we looked at Tim's pitch count and couldn't believe they were leaving him in. Then the people behind us mentioned that he had a no hitter going and we understood why he was still in.

It was fireworks night and when the fireworks started, Nancy and I were holding each other's hands really tightly while Tim got his last three outs. When the Giants game was over there were high fives all around the stands and then we enjoyed the hell out of a pretty damn good fireworks show.

My guys had a good game--Pence got five RBIs including his 14th HR and Belt hit his 10th homer. That's a record night for Pence during his time with the Giants and Belt's never hit more than 9 home runs in a single year. Pence also had an amazing diving catch that saved the no hitter.

Oh and the Grizzlies won, so it was a good day for the whole organization.
