It's currently 86F/30C out there and it's supposed to get up to 90F/32C by the end of the day. We had to turn the air conditioning on because otherwise it's just too hot upstairs. Tuesday gets the flaming thermometer for unusually high temps, in this case 95F/35C. I wonder if we'll hit triple digits before the end of the month ( Read more... )

Yeah; 90+ in the Santa Clara Valley in April is wrong, wrong, so very, very, wrong.

on the one hand climate change is bad, but on the other i've been taking advantage of the warmth to soak up some vitamin d and kick my SAD to the curb.

You can send some of that over here. Chicago is looking at 40's and 50's again this week. We'd kill for regular 65+s.

It's 66 degrees here but we have storms getting ready to roll through. They're calling for severe ones tomorrow when it heats back up.

I hate storms where there's a possibility of tornados.

Yeah, it's about 95F here in San Diego, which just seems like so many kinds of wrong.
