So, yeah, the list of things I need write and where I am on them:
LLnM fic for wolfshark. Due date -- Nov. 30. Status -- 2700 words, probably two-thirds done. Confidence level -- high. Now that I've got my groove back, this one should be done in a few days.
sga_santa fic for slightly intimidating recipient. Due date -- Dec. 10. Status -- nothing written but I have a glimmer of an idea. Confidence level -- fair to middling. Seriously, I'm a little nervous writing for this person, but the more I think about my idea, which combines two of her requests, the more I like it.
Yuletide fic. :) Due date -- Dec. 20. Status -- nothing written but I know what I'm writing. Confidence level -- fairly good. I only recognized one of her requested fandoms and she was pretty specific about what she wanted, so that's doable.
And then there's what I WANT to get written in the next couple of months.
"Lock and Key 4" (and beyond) Status -- 439 words. I pretty much set this aside for the duration of the holiday fic season, but I do want to get back to Dylan and Kyle.
"The Quiet of a Storm Approaching" a Kept Verse piece about Kate Hewlett. Status -- finished at 1600 words. I can't post it until Nancy gets to the right point in "Question of Compromise."
"Just Like a Dream" (Ventura 'verse) Status -- roughly 200 words. I miss these boys.
Untitled John/Rodney serious BDSM series. Status -- roughly 800 words of the first piece. The idea is that John and Rodney take some time on Earth and since they can, they indulge in stuff they can't do back at home. Rodney's on the top in this one and the first piece isn't actually all that hardcore, but the series will get there.
"Loyaulte Me Lie" (Blood Histories, Vampire!Sean during the War of the Roses) Status -- roughly 900 words. *facepalms* This was supposed to be a very short piece about Sean being morose and wishing he could get drunk on the anniversary of the Battle of Bosworth, but it started getting long and I dunno...the Penman influence is pretty strong and I'm not sure this is how I want this story to be told.
And yes, Gods help me, more of the Dr. Jay Sheppard/Lt. Col Meredith McKay 'verse. *headdesks*
There is one silver lining to the clod of Nancy going away for a while next week; I'll be able to work on my Holiday Exchange fics.
