About the post-apocalyptic fic...

I just posted more in halowrites' LJ. I'm trying to decide what to do about posting it, because on the one hand, writing it as comment fic gives it a bit of urgency while keeping to the realistic goal of writing something fairly short each day/night. On the other hand, I've already gone back and done some polishing of the previously written stuff and so if ( Read more... )

If you want to post it anywhere else than where you began, I would suggest you should do it in IJ as there you probably have not as many that has friended you yet. And if anyone here would want to read it can fix one over there.
At the same time I understand your hesitation of post things before it is worked through and beta, I'm not feeling that good to post things I haven't got betad as I know what that can give for impression.

I don't think that you should start getting into the habit of posting things on IJ and not on here. I might not read all of of your work as I much prefer your Vig/Bean, but I would still like to have the opportunity to read it. Once you start filters on your fiction or posting it elsewhere people like me will probably no longer have access to it. That would be a big shame :((.
I can understand your reluctance to post a raw unbetad piece of work.

If it's being posted on IJ and not flocked, you can always friend telesilla_ij here to keep up with stuff.

Given the fact that the Viggo/Bean I'm about to post would be considered child pornography by LJ if it were pictorial or illustrated, I think I should get into the habit of posting on LJ and not here. There's a real possibility that someone could report my fic and I could sign in one day to find I'd been banned.

hhhmmm I 've sure you have a very valid point and a right to feel concerned about your work. Is your IJ account friends locked...can I read your fiction over there ithout actually joining IJ?
Anyway I should imagine all your work will eventually end up on your web site...I have other options apart from reading it here.

I'm all for you posting it here! But then I'm lazy, and I like having things delivered directly to my flist. *g*

(& as you say - if you don't want it on the newsletter, just put a note on top of the post.)
