Later on there will be time to reflect and maybe even time to be cynical, but right now? It's just time to revel in the sweet sweet smell of victory. Which smells, by the way, like win with subtle hints of gloating, delight and giddiness over a strong undernote of relief. I'mma slather it on and wear it all day. *grins*
It occurred to me, while leaving a comment elsewhere, that I do not have a happy politics icon. I have "outraged" and "dissent" but nothing else. At some point I need to do something about that.
And Dude, if you ever think your vote doesn't count, look at how control of the Senate has come down to one race that was close enough to need a recount.
ETA: Well it's not a happy political icon, but it's not an angry one either. :)
