"Big Daddy!?"
OMG I love Nathan Baesel--aka Lewis Sirk, Invasion's one armed deputy--more with each blog entry of his I read. He did one about the show being canceled and he had this to say about Bill:
Speaking of Bill, he called yesterday to say he had a blast working with me and good luck. It meant a lot to me that he called. It was a really classy thing to do and it was great to hear from “Big Daddy” that his experience matched up with mine. I had a ball working with him. There’s only one way to put it: I LOVE BILL FICHTNER!!! I know he’s got a number of fansites out there and there’s a reason for 'em.
Also someone said in comments that the SciFi channel is going to be airing season one of Invasion over the summer to see if it flies. I asked darkrosetiger to do some digging around to see if this is legit because she's on the boards more often than I am. If SciFi allows Shaun Cassidy to do the show the way he wants to, this could be very good. The CW said the show was too expensive, but I'm thinking SciFi might be able to afford it.
