So I've been a tad distracted what with hers and hers migraines and the period from hell, and now, we're taking an unexpected trip to Chicago.
Nancy's godmother passed away and so we're going back for her memorial service. Nancy's doing okay, but, of course, it's not the best reason to take a trip. She took enough time off to have several days to decompress after the trip, which should help a little.
We are planning to do a few touristy things, though. We're staying right downtown so we're close to a lot of things, and also, the Giants are playing the Cubs right now, so, just like we did in 2010 when her mom died, we're going to a ballgame.
