Kinda reminds me of a Darwin recipient. Guy is out fishing in an aluminium row boat. Storm comes in. All the boats start scrambling for shore. This guy, who is with two friends in the boat, does not do this. He stands up in the bow of the ship, raises his arms to the sky, and says, "Here I am, Lord! Let me have it!"

God promptly does. Guy gets fried by lightning. His two buddies are unsinged.
