People have been poking me to post.
I don't have much to post. I'm job hunting 'cause PetsHotel won't give me any freaking hours and treats me like crap. (This is not to say that it's a shitty organisation, just that my particular manager couldn't lead her way out of a paper bag.)
It's kind of nice to job hunt while actually employed. It takes that sense of panic out of the process.
Though I do have one exciting thing to report: I saw Garth Brooks this past Saturday night up in LA. It was a benefit concert for the wildfire relief funds, and he raised more than ten million dollars. Pretty freaking impressive for five concerts in two days. And the concert was amazing. Absolutely amazing. He puts on one hell of a show.
I dunno what else to say. I shall refrain from recounting the conversation I just had with my mother, as it might disturb sensible-minded people.
ETA: It is also worth noting that I have finally (and completely successfully) hooked my roommate on Doctor Who. I don't know if I she'll watch the first twenty-six series as they're only on my computer and she doesn't like watching things on computer, but she's pretty well and truly hooked. Huzzah!
