challenge
i am thinking about a good post to write, but i must first get my thoughts in order as to my ideas on the nature of existence, science fiction, the realm of the fantastic, and the cyclicality of history/the similarities in human societal history.
until then: today i was stuck in the office for most of my working hours with the two lab guys. to waste time, we waxed philisophical about such matters as who would win in an animal fight. here are some of the more interesting match-ups:
shark vs. giant anaconda
bear vs. gorilla
tiger vs. killer whale (with bionic legs for land-walking)
chimpanzee (no weapons) vs. five squirrels (not working together, but all determined to kill the chimp)
fruit bat vs. flying scorpion
we also came up with the caveat that each contender had to fight because an evil corporation was holding their respective families hostage.
