kid update
Sam is about 36lb and is 3.5 almost

This was the pediatrician visit where Basil's ADHD was finally formerly diagnosed. He was given a Focalin rx but we have yet to start it. Trying caffeine and behavioral contracts first. When we volunteer in his classroom we can see he's bored out of his mind in Kindergarten, his teacher is the worst yet. He wouldn't need meds if he had a better teacher or a supernanny. Or some amazing SAHM.
He is full of love and compassion, with a powerful imagination and a huge heart.
This is their nanny.
Sam is undergoing diagnosis via MRI and chromosomal analysis. If they show nothing wrong then the child psychologist advises ADHD with sensory integration disorder. We love him but he is a handful. He is full of life and joy, he's whip smart and loves sports and pretend play. They love each other very much even though they are neither of them passive and they fight a lot. It's a loud, exhausting household.
