I don't think I can remember ever being as mad as I am right now. Of course, I have lost memories since arriving here, so that's not saying much of anything.

Can he not come home, even for a single minute? Of course not, he can't be bothered. Nevermind the things I went through the past two days, especially last night.

It does appear that difficulties are going around.

Difficulties are putting things mildly, I'm afraid.

I don't think we've met, though. I'm Dr. Jean Grey. Are you new here?

Indeed. It is quite the oddity from an outsider's point of view. Are things always this exciting?

I am Wesker, although one could call me a doctor as well. I prefer simply Wesker. I believe I am, yes. I do not recall being here last I remember. I doubt I would mistake a torn up street for my bed. I am pleased to meet you, Doctor.

No, not always. You happened to catch us all at an interesting time.

Do you have a place to stay, Wesker? And please, just call me Jean.

I am glad to hear that. Local hospitals would be overflowing I imagine if not.

I have found a place that suits me, yes. Thank you for asking, Jean. If I may ask, are you all right? It appears you are having a bad patch.

I'm glad you were able to find a place. I...no, I'm not alright. Someone I care for has done something incredibly stupid, and he's not coming home to me. If he doesn't come back here, he's likely to be killed by others who are angry with him. A...domestic situation, you could say.

I am sorry for your loss, Jean. That can be quite distressing.

If I may be so bold, I keep hearing you all refer to this person as if something is wrong with him. You will have to excuse me for my natural curiosity that has prompted me to see what all I could access with this machine. I have seen a few mentions of this 'Logan', and you say he is not the same. Has he fallen sick?

It's more infuriating, than distressing.

I'm not sure what is wrong with him,but I plan on finding out as soon as possible.

I imagine it is.

I would offer my assistance, but there is little someone new like myself who is a scientist more than anything could do.

The offer itself is very kind. And you'd be suprised what you can do, whether you're new or not.

If you believe there is something I can do, please tell me.

I know this is a rather forward question, but what are you a doctor of, Jean? One of a hospital's?

Of course.

It's not a foward question at all. I took classes at a hospital, in college. But I originally obtained my doctorate in genetics. I specialize in genetic mutation.

How very interesting. I have worked for quite some time in the same field of study, focusing on how viruses or other mutagens could use the DNA of the mutagen/virus and the RNA had a direct impact on the DNA of a human or other subject. I am pleased to meet someone who will not stare at me with that glazy eyed look of boredom if I become too lost in my writings.

Oh no, I actually have great interest in something like that. If you ever need someone to read your theories or writings aloud to, I am most certainly your person.

Odd since I have most likely been in this field back when you were but a small girl. I had my doctorate when I was fifteen and was running my own lab by seventeen When matters have settled and your domestic situation resolved, I should like to do just that. I had spoken to a Doctor Crescent at this ShinRa Company aboud their science department. I had another man tell me though that ShinRa engages in the use of human subjects for their testing. I have personally seen the results of such, and I would hate for such a mistake to be repeated.
