City of Lost Children
What a wonderful film. Especially in the original subtitled French. The whole cast gives amazing performances and it's such a unique story.
I like it so much, I wanted to show it to roommate Rachel, who has never seen it. So I went to the video cabinet, opened the box, and low and behold - THERE WAS NO DISC INSIDE.
We haven't opened that box since we moved out here, so all I can think of is that someone must have borrowed it and then returned the box while forgetting to return the disc.
Sigh. We never got The Blair Witch Project back from Ron's mom, either.
Dang it! I was really in the mood to watch that friggin' movie (City, not Blair).
