Since I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass my classes now this semester, I've got my schedule for next semester all registered and everything. Didn't exactly get the schedule I wanted, but I did end up getting what seems to be a completely not-hell schedule for me. Looks something like this:
Monday: Organic Chem Lab from 12pm - 4pm
Tuesday: Sociology of Everyday Life from 10:05am - 11:30am, then Instrumental Methods of Analysis lecture from 12pm - 1pm, then Instrumental Methods of Analysis lab from 1:15pm - 4:15pm
Wednesday: Molecular Biology Lab from 1:10pm - 5:10pm
Thursday: Molecular Biology Lab (lecture portion) from 8:30am - 9:55am, then Sociology of Everyday Life from 10:05am - 11:30am, then Instrumental Methods of Analysis lecture from 12pm - 1pm, then Instrumental Methods of Analysis lab from 1:15pm - 4:15pm
Friday: Organic Chemistry Lab (lecture portion) from 10:50am - 11:50am
Monday and Wednesday aren't too bad, my only concern those days is lab. Tuesday is going to be a bit hellish, but not nearly as much as Thursday. Friday is fairly nice. And I only have to get up at an insane hour of the morning on Thursdays. I think it's pretty doable.
12 credit hours = 21 hours and 40 minutes in class (provided the labs always run their full length, which isn't a guarentee). And I can really sleep in Monday and Wednesday morning... and get up later than I have been needing to on Tuesdays and Fridays.
My only beef is that I was forced to take a sociology course. Ah well. I suppose I'll survive. It's hard to complain about a course that is 2 hours and 50 minutes a week for 4 credits when I've done courses that are 3 hours a week for .5 credits or 2 hours and 20 minutes a week (on average) for 0 credits.
In other news, I'm mad at myself for sleeping in and missing class again. I swear, if I was stressed the night before I'm so tired when my alarm goes off that I'm incapable of making the right decision and going to class. I heard the phone ring at 8am and thought, for a moment, that it was Lari calling to make sure I got up and went to class. Then I thought "but she knows my class is at 8:30am and I need 40 minutes to get to campus, she would have called earlier".
Blargh. Gonna have to do some studying for Organic outside of class again... but not as much as I did for the test I got an 84 on... so I guess I don't have much to worry about, since I won't need to learn a whole damned unit.
