Goodbye 2006, Hello 2007!
I could hear firecrackers almost every second as I reminisce the year that bids farewell. The sound of firecrackers are distracting me and this is just a lame excuse for me to take a break from reviewing Ethico-Legal Nursing. hehe..Ü To sum my year up, here's the bits and pieces of 2006:
Toxic duties at the hospital, Group 5 and our "Samahang Mariposa", candy-colored eyeshadows, research, bondings during RLE, Ritz crackers, Kat Kat Almazar and Eva Wan -- my favorite patients ever, that horrible day at the community when we were laid-off, frustration, family bondings, errands, chores, responsibility -- being the parent when my dad was mostly away, Asian Babe Pageant, stress where I lost weight, anxiety, coffee addiction, Surgical Case Study, Psyche Nursing, bi-polar tendencies, keeping my sanity intact at the Mental Hospital, art, expression, charming other people, Windangs--my college friends, hang-out, laughtrips, full time bumming mode, The Hanseng Place, tv/dvd marathons, Grey's Anatomy, musictrips/sing-a-longs/roadtrips in Ricka's Pajero or Lancer, out-of-town weekend getaways, Quezon, adventure, drinking sessions, foodtrip, banana caramel walnut pancakes, sweetness, giving second chances, faith and God, pathophysiology, group study, Starbucks, Oral Revalida, sports -- soccer, basketball and marathon, drama, depression mode, too much overthinking, alone, lost and finding myself, conversations, victory, falling stars, dreaming, Friendly Friends, princess, pink, saccharine smiles, welcoming my mom home, being the "family driver", contentment, hapiness. 2006 most of all was about confidence, doing things that I thought I couldn't do, stepping out of my comfort zone and proving to myself I could do it. 2006 was such a crazy rollercoaster ride! whew!
2007 will be indeed a challenging year ahead for me as I head into another transition stage. Take me away. It's goodbye Nursing, hopefully passing the local board and hello Medicine! It's one step closer to my dream.
Will also think of my New Year's Resolution and hopefully keep it.
