Dear Yuletide Writer,
So, first of all, thank you so much for writing for me! Second, please feel free to disregard any of the below if it's stressing you out/making it hard to write/you have a different idea/whatever. I promise I'll love whatever you write me. Nothing here is a must, just ideas that you can use if you want.
General likes/dislikes:
Likes: I pretty much like ANYTHING. I'm a multishipper, so any ship is fine by me, and so is gen. I like case fic, smut, fluff, crack, angst, darkfic, character studies, and like a zillion other things, and anything from short and sweet to long and plotty. Just like. Everything. Um, that probably isn't that helpful. Some tropes/kinks that stand out for me: unrequited or believed unrequited love/pining, powerplay and strange/unhealthy/inverted power dynamics (in a sex way or not, either is fine), PRANK WARS, noncon/dubcon (whether explored in a romanticized, sexy way, or a darker more realistic way), praise kink, BDSM and most related kinks, darkfic, and many more that I can't think of off the top of my head. Crossovers are always appreciated, though of course in no way necessary. Tentacles are good too.
Dislikes: All of these things are tropes/kinks I generally don't read, because I've found I don't like them. That said, none of these are 100% "will hate your fic if they show up" things for me. I'm always willing to be convinced. Anyway, I usually avoid A/B/O, mpreg, scat, vore, ageplay. Also, of course, character bashing.

Young Wizards
So, I've been reading the Young Wizards series for most of my life, and I love it quite a lot. I waited for my letter from Hogwarts, but it was the Wizard's Oath that really entranced me when I was younger. I love the characters, the writing, the way magic works in that universe. I'd be really interested in fic that goes into the broader universe and magic itself.
In terms of shipping, I have a soft spot for Dairine/Roshaun, and of course Nita/Kit. Also, the Lone Power/ANYONE EVER would make my day. It'd also be cool to read a fic that talks more about Ronan and the One's Champion - maybe more about their relationship when they were all meldy, or Ronan's state of mind after It leaves his body?
Anything about Carmela will win you my love forever. Femslash involving Carmela would also be wonderful. It'd also be cool to read about Dairine or someone crushing on Carmela.
American Gods
Fair warning: I haven't read Anansi Boys, and I'm much prefer to not be spoiled for it.
I always like to read more interpretations of the various mythologies in American Gods - or an entirely new one. I also have always wanted to know more about Shadow's time in prison, and his relationship with Low Key/Loki, and other inmates. Maybe Shadow ran into some other gods without realizing it.
In a similar vein, fic about Laura and Shadow before he went to prison, how their crime-plotting came about, and so on, would be awesome to read about. Laura!POV would be fantabulous.
I always thought Shadow might take another road trip after American Gods, to get to know the U.S. better. Maybe he'd run into some cool new people. Maybe he'd make the trip with Sam or some other characters from American Gods.
Watchmen
Okay, so this is the fandom of my heart. I love the movie, and the graphic novel, and EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM. (I haven't, however, read the Before Watchmen comics. Curse my lack of money.)
As with everything, all ships are fine with me, though I do love me some Dan/Rorschach, and Dan/Rorschach/Laurie.
I'm also really interested in the constant theme of nostalgia in Watchmen, and it makes me wonder how it would have affected the Watchmen, to be living in a time when everyone was always looking backwards, how it would have changed them as people, the pressures it would have put on them.
Fic that concentrates on Laurie, would also be wonderful - she never got much time to develop in canon, and I've always wanted to know more about her.
Midnight Run
OKAY SO. THIS MOVIE. This was the first R-rated movie I ever saw, and I've seen it a zillion times. I love it, the story, the actors, the soundtrack. When I saw it was on the fandom list for Yuletide this year, I may have shrieked a little bit.
Funny, cracky fic in the same vein as Jack and John's banter in the movie would MAKE MY LIFE.
I also think it'd be interesting to read a fic where the two of them meet in the future, preferably by chance. Maybe they bump into each other on the street, maybe John goes into a coffeeshop a few years later to find it's run by Jack.
Also, fic about Jack's time as a cop would be really interesting.
Watership Down
One of the things I love the most about Watership Down is its ability to be TOTALLY AND UTTERLY TERRIFYING. Darkfic/horror and the like would be faaabulous - maybe more about the Black Rabbit, or about Holly's or another rabbit's experience at the Sandleford warren?
Fic about their mythology would be interesting too.
I also would love just general, day to day interactions between the rabbits; how they relate, as their particular personalities, and as rabbits instead of humans, is really interesting to me. Bigwig and anyone is always extra fun.
I HAVE read Tales From Watership Down if there's anything there you find you want to incorporate. Also, I'd personally prefer not to read bunnysex, sorry if that was something you were planning.
