Mission Accomplished!
I traveled to Casper, WY as Alternate Delegate #9 from my county, was Alternate Delegate #3 at Check-in and 20 minutes later received a panicked phone call informing me I was First Available Alternate and had to pick up my floor credentials. By next morning, I was seated as a County Delegate to the Wyoming Republican Convention where we kicked Trump's butt and made him cry like a baby.
Maybe if Trump had actually showed up at the convention like Ted Cruz did he may have won a delegate. He chose Sarah Palin to speak in his place and even she cancelled, leaving a rambling old woman to speak on his behalf. The high point of her speech was when she said she had no idea why her husband was a Ted Cruz supporter and everyone jumped up, cheered and waved Cruz signs and she just looked like "what the hell did I just do..."
Ted Cruz gave a darn about Wyoming, he showed up and he gave an excellent speech that was on target and spoke to Wyoming's values and issues.
All 14 delegates available yesterday went to Cruz to add to the 9 he got from the County conventions. Trump and Rubio still have one apiece from the Counties and one undertermined to go with the three fixed undertermined delegates from the State GOP who usually vote with the majority of the other Wyoming delegates.
I want to know who was supposed to be buying me meals and a room and handing me cash and stuff like Donald Trump is saying. If I was bought, shouldn't I have something to show for it? o.O
