Well one week until I take that 7 hour drive to the next convention, I wish I could say I was ready for it. The anime industry has taken a weird turn as of late. I'm selling the same amount, which is always good, but the conventions seem to have less fans at them. They are still a blast to visit.
I finally told my family that I'll be hiting St. Louis for a computer job in 2007. I figured with $16,000 worth of college, it was about time I use it, since lately all I have been doing in running the family cafe.
Did I even mention, I got a cat, not my first choice in pets, but she needed a home, since the coyotes got her brothers and sisters. She was the only one left by the time I could catch any of them. For those who own cats, are they trainable? This cat won't drink out of a bowl, she prefers the toliet water, from the sink, or hoping in the shower with me and drinking water in there. She loves water, which goes against most laws of teh norm. She is always in attack mode for anything more than 4 feet away from her, likes potato chips and dog treats, and is inable of landing on her feet. I have a German Spitz that has an awesome sense of balance, but this cat, she has had a dozen near concusions from running full speed into chairs, walls, doors, the oven and such. I did do something that I still feel bad about. I was doing laundry, and wasn't looking. The cat hoped into the dryer, didn't make a sound, I switched it on, and after three thunks (thankfully all the clothes cushioned the falls a little) I stopped it and she was in there crying a lot. Well, because of the destruction and chaos, she was named Katrina (that and I got her on the one year aniversary). I'll see if I can get some shots up of her.
