Write

Words come so easily
With no one to listen.
Thoughts flow freely
When the ink dries.
I have no voice, and so,
I write.

Fear

What has not been said,
Is most important.
I am a stereotype of the
Lowest common denominator,
Trapped in a machination
Of my own creation.

Chosen

I do what's required,
It's still not enough.
I go beyond comfort,
And yet, it's still not right.
Everything I do is wrong,
But there's always a nit
To be picked.

Defeated

It's always about me.
No fault, your own.
I cannot share what is
Placed squarely on my
Shoulders.
I cannot share how it
Really is, and so I'm left,
Defeated.

Surrogate

My life is not my own.
It is ruled and run
By you, your words,
Your opinions, your
Ideas.
A marionette, desperately
Waiting for the scissors
To arrive.

Incomplete

A startling disparity
Between what's known
And what's seen, causes
A shift in perception,
Grand and fleeting.

Held

I was between my emotions,
A quizzical place indeed,
And you were there, not
To provide sanctuary,
But asylum from the politics
Of the heart.

Brilliance

There is a time, just
Before a stroke of
Genius, when complete
Clarity is had.
Details clutter an already
Attic'd mind.

Built On Disparity

Our lives,
As futile as they may be,
Are possibly the strongest
Things in existence.
This existence is built
On an empty space no-
One will fill, and so
We're left floating.
Or hanging.

Glass Genius

Silently
In a lab,
The scientist patiently
Works on mixtures and
Alloys, but, as the silence
Is shattered, so too goes
The genius, lost in his own
Creation.

Objectivity

The smooth, flawless skin of
A marble sphere, rests heavenly
Upon a pillar of the same material.
The opacity and patterns within
The stone lend themselves attention
As they play off the obscenely
Bright light.
But, It's just a sphere on a pillar.

Sushi Haiku

Cobalt fish, resting,
In my small bowl, unmoving,
Wants to swim again.

The Sea And Her Dress

Slowly, she strips,
Revealing the beauty
Beneath the Mardi Gras
Visage.

Slowly, she dresses,
Hiding the only real
Thing between her and
Her dreams.

Distvrbed(And before you ask, yes that v is supposed to be there.)

A slight ripple
Shatters the peace.
A void of movement
Restores the silence.
From nothing -
Comes everything.

Gripping

Grabbing
Slamming
Sliding down
To writhing
Darkness,
Coupled with
Leaning, screaming
Salt pillars,
The silent testament
Of womanhood.

Creation
The alchemy of
Flesh and bone,
Flesh grabbing,
Cronstructing
Constricting,
Destructing,
Demanding,
Creating
Salt pillars
Screaming
About the
Mistreatment
Of Animals.

Beloved

Sickly, twisted, jaundiced
Fever, all around, pull the lever.

Release the demons.

SCREECH, CLAW, TWIST, MANGLE,
SCAR, Rebuke Reality.

Intensity causes urges, uncontrolled and mighty,
Like Helium, fast forwarding thought a window into
Bitterly cold air.

Horses through the field, run, galloping into an
Unknown horizon, sheltering an unknown sun.
Grass sways and bends, but never breaks.

Nuns wail mourning cries for the saviour
They never knew.

Vanity is a sin.

Submutosis

Rough estimates cause
Billions of grains of
Sand to lose themselves
Within the universe.

Pain And What It Isn't

Experience what shouldn't be.
Know what isn't.
Express without expression.
See without looking.
Mean without meaning.
Truth comes from lies.
Have faith without believing,
Transcend.

Crisp

Chilled to the bone
In a frigid wind.
Trees are all I have.

Bonding

Tomorrow dawns early.
Yesterday never happened.
When you realize what you are,
You've lost it.

Equivalent

Beads of memory form
Along the perforation of
Dreams and reality, tilting
Back and forth, the
Delicate dance of
Equillibrium.

Pre-Empty

Secretive and empty,
Bold, underlined, and
Struck-out, spinning
Colors and shooting
Lazers break free
From the pull of
The Earth and get
Lost between the
Specks of light we'll
Never really
Understand.

Presentation

Greeted by sunrise,
Kissed by clouds,
Touched by infinity,
Left behind a world
That never really knew.

Shackles

Silver melodies in
Monotone elegies
Lose their shimmer
At sunset, when
The world stops
To remember the
Precious moments
Lost when we stopped
To listen.

Damned

Damned are those
Who lose sight of
What the real truth
Is.
Beyond facades
Of unknown colours,
The brilliance of a thousand
Stars, shines.
