(no subject)
Being the big foodlover that I am, it may surprise you to find that I hate Thanksgiving. And I hate parades. And I hate dances. And I hate Valentines Day.
I hate holidays that never work out the way they're supposed to. Like Christmas: it's supposed to be a time for the family to get together. But my father and my mother's parents are in an everlasting feud with each other, so I'll be driving my mom, brother and myself to their house Christmas Eve. Now, my grandfather on my dad's side has just started drinking again, so he's not even gonna be here for Thanksgiving.
At least I know what I want to get people for Christmas. Well, except for kaleigh_thespaz. What can I get her in the realm of humanly possible things that she doesn't already have? I owe her so much...
Now that I think about it, I'm not sure that it was a good idea for any of us to be a part of that Interlake community ( interlake ). It's just a shortcut for the administration to find our livejournals and use them against us for whatever wrongdoings they think we've done.
Don't tell me to march.
