Final results from the Kentridge Invitational

We placed second at the invitational! That's really good, considering the fact that we were not only competing against the other drill teams there (Hazen, Capitol, and Sammamasquish) but also the pom teams. Heritage was one of the pom teams; they were really good and creative. Hazen placed first and I'm not allowed to say where the other teams placed (because they ranked below us). But yes, we are so so so so so so so proud of our team. We just have a couple things we need to work on and a few changes that need to be made. But yay!

Oh yes, and as a special treat, Kentridge had the awards (they weren't really awards that can help you to qualify for districts or anything, they were just for fun) Best Hair and Make-up, Most Spirited, (something to the effect of) Highest Energy, and Best Costume (for dance). Of course we have the cutest team, so we won the Best Hair and Make Up award. Teehee. Now, most invitationals don't have these kinds of awards just because they're kinda, well, pointless outside the fact that they make the team that wins them feel good. So yeah. We have a cute li'l mirror to put in our trophy case as well as a second place trophy!

Let's see... Monday I'm working (at Sears) in the Women's department from 12:30 to 4:30. Ah, and I have a paper to write for English 101. It's crazy: when I write papers for English 101 I get really good scores on them (we've done three (well, four but the last one hasn't been scored yet) and I've gotten 95%, 100% and 96% on them), but in IB I get, on average, C's on them. *pllb* It shouldn't work that way. Oh well. I need to take a shower and go to the bank.

On Friday before the assembly I almost said "please call me" but I lost my nerve.
