News and more news!
Looks like the Icelandic summer may have passed on already. The past few days have been chilly and wet.. and we finally have a tiny bit of darkness at night. Makes it easier to sleep.
I've been getting a lot more responsibilities at both of my jobs. I have taken some shifts opening the bar and am now one of the two main staff at Naked Ape. I also have to plan events for them, too. We have a Sneaker Freaker party coming up this weekend. At the end of August, we also have Culture Nights where we will have a lemonade stand and bands/DJs playing in the shop and on the main street. I will DJ one of those days, too. :)
I've also been doing more DJ sets around town. Some major news in that area is that I'm the DJ for Reykjavik Gay Pride's official Boys Only dance (the most popular event other than the parade during gay pride week here). That should be thrilling. I've also gotten some gigs at Sirkus!! :)
Ok, back to cooking dinner for now though.. hope everyone is doing well! Til next update..
