Everyone have a good Memorial Day weekend? Eat lots of BBQ? Good, good.
I took a week off from the internet. I still looked, but I didn't blog, tweet, photo upload, comment. Nada zilch natch.
The amusing part is that absolutely no one noticed.
So, yeah, it's making me mentally redefine my internet experience.
And it figures - when I finally WANT to stop using that Loudtwitter thing (you know, that annoying once-a-day twitter feed to LJ thing that no one reads and everyone hates), the entire LT site goes kablooie and I can't log in to turn the damn thing off. So, unfortunately, there will be a few more here and there until I can kill it.
The end of the quarter is creeping up and I have many, many fires burning. Final portfolios for art and photography, exams in algebra and biology and bio lab. Rehearsals for The Lion in Winter have started up and added it's complexity to the collected chaos.
Went for the first bike ride of the season today. Probably shouldn't have picked an all-uphill route. MISTAKE. Going to be feeling that one tomorrow.
Oh OH ... the best part of the holiday weekend? Finally getting this together -

It would be very cool if it got a few hits from time to time. Where Flickr is going to become my weekly photo dump, alexcarmichal.com is going to be a daily mosaic of what I consider to be my best shots (old and new). It even has a nifty RSS feed, so fire up your fav reader and add the shit out of me. I appreciate it.
