(no subject)
I have a full blown sore throat that was somewhat relieved by a nice cup of hot tea earlier. Although, it's slowly starting to feel like glass shards and razor blades again. I ended up staying home from practice because I want to make sure I don't get worse.
I managed to get the gifts we bought this weekend, wrapped. I finished and set the stencils for reecefairy's shirts. I need to take pix of them, there is one that I especially like. It's the lettering I like a lot. I still need to fold some clothes and get them off of our bed. It seems like I am forever folding or putting clothes away, and frankly I'm getting sick of it.
The Reedy River Rollergirls is having our first meeting next Thursday to get a few things done, like finally vote on our logo. I love the new colors that Rob (the_walkowiaks) did. I can honestly say, the logo has probably been the most positive thing to happen for the team right now. We're getting low on attendance, and I know it's just this time of the year, but it's hard to try and get the fundamentals down when you barely have enough girls on skates to skate a pack.
Christmas is almost 13 sleeps away. For some reason this year, it's so much more tiring than it has been in the past. I still have gifts to buy and wrap. Saturday I'm taking Nikkos to the mall to get a picture with Santa. My parents will be in town this weekend so that will do one of two things, either aleviate some stress or totally add to it.
Ah.. time to go relax and sink into the final chapters of Odd Thomas
