May contain enough Pikachu figures to feed a small village with
So I'm really, really fond of keychains and charms and the like. And it got me thinking, while I was going to Build A Bear to get some of the Sanrio clips (I got a Chococat one and a My Melody one - I honestly don't need any more Hello Kitty stuff and they're both pretty cute too so honk), I haven't really bought any Pokemon stuff since 1st gen. 8< Well, except for the Rayquaza figure I bought to get the free Arceus figure with it during the Arceus event.
I ended up digging through my Pokemon box to see if I could find anything, and I found what seemed to be all my figures. The collection consisted of many, many Pikachus, a Hitmonlegless, a Hitmonchan, a Raichu, a Gyarados, a Mew, a Charmeleon, a Psyduck, a Bulbasaur and a Growlithe. I also found a lot of clips that seemed to be from those lollipops you get with the character covers on them, and they were Togepi, Pikachu and Squirtle ones. I think Squirtle was actually my favourite Pokemon when I was little, looking at the number of Squirtles in the stuff I found...
There was a talking Mew and Squirtle figure - although the Squirtle says "Zenigame" instead, and I remember being incredibly upset because I was like THAT'S NOT SQUIRTLE ;____; at the time, lol. Mew was the other favourite, I think, since there were quite a lot of Mews there too, including a well-kept Mew bouncy ball that actually looks really cute. 8) So I put all the figures on my shelf. The best finds were probably the two Game Boy keychains - one black and one red - they have a little lense and if you looked into it and pressed the button you could see these different Pokemon pictures. It's weird to see such early Sugimori art... oh, and the Pokeball keychain with the Pikachu keychain inside. There was a particular Pikachu keychain I was looking for, but couldn't find. Oh well. It's probably out there somewhere.
Pokemon aside, I think I've finally settled on the image I'm going to put onto my backpack for school. I took probably my favourite Persona 4 wallpaper and changed the angle of it, as well as cut it down to size. I'll probably take pics of it and post them on mayonakatv when I'm done. Gonna use decal paper, since I don't think it would be very safe to iron it onto the material the front pocket of the bag is made of. x)
Aaaaand on top of all of THAT I was playing Okami in between writing this post. I got to the Ark of Yamato so I'm off around Nippon to get all the... stray Stray Beads I missed as well as all the fun little sidequests. Here's hoping I get Yen for Praise this game!
