gosh exams sure are tough this year! I had a mock chem exam on Monday and I got an E in it and my teacher basically said I was doomed, since my exam was...3 or 4 days away. Cue me studying my ass off that evening and then all of a sudden I feel like I know everything.
Studying is weird.
My maths resit was ace and so was my chem exam in the end - got good papers and nothing caught me out. Feels good man B)
Now I'm off school until next Thursday before we move onto my other maths exam, moving image exam and then my two physics and then I am freeeeee. Sucks how I'm one of four people who's going to be at school riiiight until the end of the school year. Curse you physics for being on the 27th of June!!!1
A while back I was kinda poked into trying to sign up for a summer school thing. Supposedly it's to give those who aren't as well-off to have a chance at seeing what all the big name universities are like if they have really good grades. I basically got a letter back saying I wasn't not-white enough. I get EMA too so that probably turned them off too. Lol oh well it's not like I'd ever go anywhere near Cambridge anyway (I chose the chemistry school and that's where it was) - I had a feeling I'd get rejected since a guy I know got a letter ages ago with a big NO on it and he actually GETS EMA. I can remember filling out the form for the damn thing and there was a dropdown list for race. They had numbers next to them too - I assume these were points... I was tempted to say I was mixed Jamaican and something else
It looks like I'm gonna be going to Q-con this year, too. There's a Brawl tourney on the Sunday but I'm probably going on the Saturday. 8( Oh well. I tried to play it again today and I still get errors halfway through choosing characters for a brawl... I don't know if it's a dirty lens or a crappy disc. It has all these weird marks on it that weren't before. Toothpaste didn't work. It was kind of fun doing that.
