This Christmas the concept that is the Professor Layton series has been entered into my life. I was worried that I would play through these games too quickly (which I doubt, I get the feeling Curious Village was just...a bit short) but yeah Mr Parenthesis says I already finished the first one since Christmas Day. It was.... fun, I like the puzzles. Puzzles are great, never had a game wrack by brain like this before.
But the plot and the music weren't that amazing, and the length... yeah, it was short. I'm worried I'll have bought the three games and I'll zoom through them and then it'll feel like it was pointless to buy them. It's not as if I'm trying to go through them incredibly fast. I got most of the things that could be gotten without using any kind of guide (although I did use a guide for two puzzles simply because I have the depth perception of an unruly toothpick and some that were probably meant to be easy as hell were actually impossible for me) Seems as if they're like the Ace Attorney series in that in order of 'goodness', it goes 3 > 1 > 2, or at least that's what I'm told. I hope the games at least get longer...
Aaaand I haven't studied once. I really hope I don't regret starting this late. I think how close my exams are is starting to really stress me out, and by destressing I'm... not studying. Which isn't the best plan. Gonna start tomorrow.
And my pokedolls aren't here yet.
