No sleep...

Jun 02, 2005 08:30

I tossed and turned all night. I could not seem to fall asleep. I went to bed at 12:30 and the last time I rolled over to look at the clock it was around 4am. I kept thinking about everything that was going in my life right now. It's like my brain wouldn't stop working so that I could get some rest. My alarm went off at 5:45am this morning and I ( Read more... )

I hear ya, it's hard sleeping alone when your so used to having someone next to you. I sleep on the couch a lot because of this. But it's better to sleep alone than it is to wake up to someone you no longer love.

Don't stress or worry so much, you have a lot going for you hon. You are getting a new place, you have a slew of great people surrounding you, and your not in an unhappy relationship. Think positive! ;)

It's funny that you mention sleeping on the couch for that reason. I do the same thing. I wonder why.

Thanks for compliments.

It's easier to sleep on the couch by yourself, because there's not an empty spot next to you. My bed is so big, and rolling over to a cold empty spot is kinda depressing.

Oh yeah and you need a dog! My dog is a big cuddle muffin so she helps fill the spot sometimes. :)

Not having the empty space next to you is probably what it is. I couldn't sleep for shit last night.

I do need a dog. Maybe after I get settled in to my new apartment I'll get myself an ugly dog.

Now why does it have to be an ugly dog??
Just take your little ass up to the SPCA and adopt one. You'll be giving it a better life and potentially saving it from being put to sleep. I got my baby there. SPCA takes care of all the dogs shots, they spade/nueter them, and they plant a chip into them in case they are ever lost.

I don't think that british bulldogs are ugly, but most people do. I must have a fat dog that waddles.

Oh I get it, the ugly dog comment was directed towards me. haha. Thanks!
I'm just not a big fan of small, fat, slobbering, lazy dogs. I like playful, energized, medium/large dogs. But it will be your companion.

I don't know how well I tubby bulldog will do in a water bed. bwhahah!

There's nothing wrong with a little extra "baggage."
