Big Weekend Update
I went out on Friday and Saturday night with wretchedbabydol, mrfurious, ldygabilan, and jawbrok. On Friday we went to the recently opened Moonstruck Wine Company on Municipal and New Haven. The had a wide selection of wines but they also had a great selection of beers. I drank 2 beers that night that were new to me. First being a Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre, an ale that was brewed with raisins. It was quite tasty and surprisingly accepted by the Bud Light drinkers.
Next I had a Red Rice Ale from Hitachino Nest. It smelt like a steak dinner. It didn't taste anything like it smelt. It was rather bland in my opinion.
After that we headed over to the trendy and somewhat secretive Foobar which actually turned out to be really cool. They played good music and one of my friends that I hadn't seen in a while was bartending. It was extremely crowded due to Friday Fest but I still had a good time.
On Saturday we went out to eat Indian food at our favorite place Taste of India. I ordered a Chicken Tikka Nan and Ragada as an appetizer. I also ordered an Indian lager called Taj Mahal which really wasn't all that flavorful. For my main course I ordered Butter Chicken but I recieved Chicken Tikka Masala. It was all very delicious and I of course was stuffed.

After dinner we headed to the old Phoenix Theatre to see MCT's production of Picasso at the Lapin Agile. We got there a little late but it was a very entertaining show. One of wretchedbabydol's friends from high school played Picasso. If you live in Melbourne you should go watch the show sometime.
We ended up going to Foobar again after the show and enjoyed some cocktails. I didn't end up oing much on Sunday other then playing Emperor:Battle for Dune and watching quite a few episodes of 24. ldygabilan, mrfurious and I actually ended up ordering from Steak-Out finally and it was damn good. I was full for the next 4 hours. It was a rather fun and eventful weekend.
