Cyber Dogs

I've been meaning to try out Cyber Dogs ever since I got to Seattle, but for some reason I never got around to it. Then, at Veg-fest, cyberdogs had the only really good sample, and I was even more interested.

This week I finally went. Wow. Seriously awesome. First, everything on the menu was vegetarian. Hey, that's like a party for me! So cool. And, it was tasty. Not only did we get awesome chili with our dogs (and kraut for me), we also got to sample what she was cooking that afternoon.

The proprieter is fun and friendly, and there's a Ms. Pacman machine. You know I had to. Woodstock was playing silently on a television and a wonderful eclectic mix was playing on the stereo, leading to a little surrealism when mixed with the tv images. But when Janis Joplin showed up on screen the proprieter noticed me perk up and asked me if I wanted the sound. I did, so she switched.

The place is great and the portions are enormous. I could only eat 2/3s of my plate and that was pushing it. And it's the kind of joint I'd like to visit on a regular basis, just because of the atmosphere. You are encouraged to linger and chat, and I like that. In fact, it's just what I need right now.
