i have this class where i have to make weekly observations and describe them and this is the best one i've ever done. so if it's bad, lie.
The sky was painted pastel shades of blue with pink clouds highlighting the horizon. The clouds were smudged around the edges as though an artist had been at work, blending his colors. The harsh, jagged leaves of a palm tree looked like porcupine quills trying to sink into the flesh of this masterpiece out of jealousy. The black silhouette shifted uneasily from side to side as it examined its rival, but the sky made no retailiation. It was just a kaleidoscope in slow motion, its shocking pink retiring to a mellow red, the pastel blue dimming to a cool, dark blue. The shifty tree had won this time, but its restlessness did not fade because it knew its rival would return at dawn.
